With COVID-19 around, it's more important than ever to get your flu vaccine.

Face Coverings: we ask that anyone entering the building wears a face covering unless exempt or a child under 5.

Nurses

The Practice Nurse is a qualified and registered nurse. She can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The Practice Nurse runs clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma, copd, hypertension, chronic heart disease or diabetes. The Practice Nurse also carry out cervical smears and can give advice on contraception and sexual health.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Rona Whitelaw

The practice Healthcare Assistant supports the practice nurse with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
