|Dr Rachel Haughney (GP Registrar)|
MBChB Aberdeen 2014
The practice has been accredited by NES (NHS Education for Scotland) as a Training Practice. This means that we meet the standard required to further train qualified doctors who wish to specialise in general practice. All GP registrars are qualified doctors who have already worked in several hospital posts before coming to the practice. Each GP registrar will be with the practice for periods of six to twelve months at a time and operates as one of the GPs, but under the supervision and guidance of one of the partners in the practice. You may be offered an appointment with, or a home visit from, the GP Registrar. and appointments can be made with them the same way as for our regular clinicians.
